What “small business friendly” actually means at Kilwhiss

Updated 26 September 2026: This article previously suggested that every Kilwhiss service had no minimum contract. Our services have different terms, so that blanket statement has been corrected.

“Small business friendly” should mean you can understand an offer before you agree to it. A website build, a hosting plan and managed IT support are different kinds of work. We should explain which specialist handles your request, what is included and what happens after delivery.

Start with the job you need done

If you want a website built, describe the audience, pages and outcome you want. If you need ongoing support, explain the systems and people who depend on it. A focused enquiry helps us direct you to the right company and scope the work without assuming you need every service in the Group.

Ask for clear scope, price and terms

The written proposal should say what is included, what might cost extra, who is responsible and when work can start. For an ongoing service, check its billing period, minimum term if any, renewal, notice and cancellation rules. These details vary by service; the Group terms also explain that service-specific terms apply.

If a price is shown as “from”, ask what is included at that starting price and what your actual requirements would cost. A useful quote gives you enough detail to compare options and decide whether the work is worth doing.

Make the contact route clear

You should know where to send a question, who owns the response and what support arrangements are included. We aim to explain technology in plain language and route enquiries to the relevant specialist. Any response times or service levels should be confirmed in the service agreement.

  • What outcome do I need, and what is out of scope?
  • Which Kilwhiss company would deliver and contract for this work?
  • What will it cost, and what happens if the scope changes?
  • How do support, renewal, cancellation and handover work?

Small organisations deserve a straight answer to those questions. Choose the specialist service that fits, or tell Kilwhiss Group what you need and we will recommend a starting point.
