This week at Kilwhiss
Quick round-up of the week, partly because some of you have asked what actually happens behind the scenes and partly because writing it down keeps me honest.
Migrated two client websites onto Kilwhiss Host. Both were on a budget provider and both saw their mobile load time roughly halve overnight. One of them had been complaining about slow site for a year.
Built an automation for a small services business that connects their booking form, their calendar, and their invoicing software. They reckon it saves about six hours a week. Six hours a week is the difference between working a Saturday and having one off.
Caught a phishing email aimed at a client before they clicked the link. Genuinely scary one. Fake invoice from a supplier they actually use, with the right logo, addressed to the right person. The only giveaway was the sender’s domain was one letter off.
Drank far too much coffee. Updated the website. Wrote half this content plan. Walked the dog twice.
That’s the week. Real work, small businesses helped, no drama.
